Richard "R.P." Miller owned a pickup truck when he was hauling all the bricks and other materials and tools he needed to build the patio behind his house in Chesterfield Township. But that truck had given way to a Toyota Corolla by the time his wife decided she wanted the patio extended around the corner of the house.
A Memphis man told police he fired two shots toward his wife early Wednesday to stop her nagging.

A fingerprint expert for the Ocean County Sheriff's Department testified this afternoon that two fingerprints found on or in a car reportedly seen fleeing the scene of a fatal barbershop shooting in Lakewood in 2006 matched fingerprints of two of the three men on trial in the barbershop murder.
