Demetri Washington, the man arrested with Celeste Thomas when she was Tased, was convicted Wednesday of crimes stemming from that incident - but said he was driving Thomas' car only because she was intoxicated.

Authorities are looking for a car involved in a hit-and-run collision that injured a pedestrian along Highway 10 west of Missoula early Wednesday morning.

METUCHEN — A rash of motor vehicle thefts occurred in the borough over a two-day period last week. The incidents occurred between 9:30 p.m. Sept. 24 and 8:50 a.m. Sept. 25, police said. Six motor vehicles that were parked at two separate Middlesex Avenue residences were burglarized.
